Puppy Kindergarten, Manners, Novice, and Rally
Monday, June 2, 2008 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Classes start Wednesday and Thursday, June 11th & 12th
Obedience Class Descriptions:
All classes require a minimum of 4 dogs.
Costs are $85 for the dog’s first class and $65 for each class after that.
PUPPY KINDERGARTEN:
6 Weeks - 45 minutes to 1 hour
Socialize your puppy!! This class is for pups 8 weeks through 4 months. We will cover normal puppy behavior and stages of social and physical growth, house-training, mouthing and biting, handling, the basic cues of sit, down and come, along with the most important aspect of your pup’s development, socialization!--Learning to get along with others.
MANNERS CLASS:
6 weeks - 1 hour
This class is for dogs 5 months or older (no age limit). This is Dog Training 101! We will cover dog behavior and learning theory, basic cues such as sit, down, come, stay, walk nice on a leash, off, leave it, drop it, and go to bed! Your dog will also learn basic manners like how to greet a person and another dog, and they'll get to play some fun games and learn a few tricks!
PRE NOVICE/ADVANCED MANNERS
6 weeks - 1 hour
PreNovice covers healing, front, finish, stand for exam, long sit, and long down.
(Prerequisite: Beginning Manners or instructor’s approval)
NOVICE:
8 weeks - 1 hour
Novice is to really polish your dog's performance for in the show ring! This class covers advanced healing, front, finish, stand for exam, long sit and down stays, and more!
RALLY OBEDIENCE CLASS
8 weeks – 1 hour
Rally provides a link from the Canine Good Citizen program to Obedience or Agility competition, both for dogs and handlers. In addition, Rally promotes fun and enjoyment for dogs at all levels of competition. This class is for dogs that would like to compete in Rally Obedience Trials.

OBEDIENCE RUN - THRU:
2nd Friday of every month
Entries taken starting at 6:30 PM with first run by 7 PM
$5 for the first run
$3 for second run of same dog
No run thru on March 14, 2008 due to a rental
